The St Kilda Arts Community is re-structuring the Arts Alive event to one a year in October. The focus is based on the successes of the previous three art crawls and the sales of art. The venues involved will embrace a show from the artist which will include a launch, meeting the artist and hear their story of their art. More details will be available in the next few weeks. The inaugural St Kilda Blues Festival is on next Friday 22nd and through to Sunday 24th March. There are over twenty venues, forty plus acts, and more than 60 shows. To find out the program, visit the website and pick up a map at each venue. St Kilda Blues Festival The Melbourne International Comedy Festival commences on the 27th March and runs to 21st April. There are a number of venues in St Kilda that are participating including; Alex Theatre, New Market Hotel, Cripps Basement, Palais Theatre, Prince Bandroom, Red Stitch Theatre, The Local Taphouse and Theatre Works.
